The remainder of Nehemiah is basically record keeping.

As Nehemiah repairs the walls, the same enemies that mocked the Jews were now angry that the wall was becoming secure once again, and they devised a plan to kill Nehemiah, but it failed. And once the walls were back up, all of the people assembled, the law was read to them to refresh and revive them, and they all signed a covenant saying they would begin to serve God and act as they should.

Then scripture records those who signed the covenant, the records a census of everyone that lived inside and outside of Jerusalem.

Always read the chapters though because you never know what you’ll learn, even if it’s just a census.

God bless.
