““Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and [a]prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called:

THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.” – Chapter 23:5-8

Here, God is informing Judah of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ, and that in the end, all will return to Israel to live. As we will see in the coming months, Jesus will come to earth, born unto man, and will roam the area teaching people how to live righteously. And He will eventually come a second time to take the righteous to Heaven for a thousand years, after which a New Jerusalem will descend from Heaven and occupy Israel. At the time, God will cleanse the earth of sin, and it will once again be as He originally designed it in the Garden of Eden.

Won’t that be wonderful! Come soon Jesus!

And Jesus does come, and He teaches, and heals, and preaches, and prepares His disciples to go into the world and spread the word of the impending Second Coming and that all who are righteous will be invited too live with God and Jesus for eternity. Most importantly, He gives His life on the cross to defeat Satan. But more on that when the time comes.

Then He instructs Jeremiah once again to warn Judah of false prophets as there are many. And there are many today. I urge everyone to read and study their Bible; don’t just go to church and listen to your pastor. Learn if for yourself. Always pray and ask God to give you understanding of the truth.

I whole-heartedly agree with Dr. Jennings. You will be better prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus if you study for yourself with the help of God.
